Demotions/Strikes Policy
Demotions, strikes and eventually terminations can occur as people sometimes do things they are not suppose to do and must be told and shown that they cannot do that. However before punishing anyone you need to first communicate to them and ask them what they are doing, sometimes people will be doing things that are 'wrong' or things we don't want them to do but they wont realize it. However sometimes a bad action or dis-respectfulness must be reprimanded and demotions to strikes will occur. In the grand scheme of things, you should always warn someone first and help teach them what they have done wrong. Then if they continue to do that or ignore you or act out such as being disrespectful, a single rank demotion may occur. If someone has been demoted and continues to act out or be disrespectful a strike may be issued. Strikes are the ultimate punishments someone may receive as once you reach 3 strikes, you are fired. When you are fired for whatever reason by whoever, your name will go on the fired page and you will not be able to be re-hired unless approved by a [1iC] member.
Any HR+ member may issue a demotion and a strike. Only Senior Staff Members may fire someone or rather issue 3 strikes at once to anyone that is Security+ and below MoD. All other members below the MoD Unit must issue demotions/strikes in single instances. The only people that should be receiving strikes are people that in the Security Division and above. A demotion should be not combined with a strike unless it's absolutely necessary and should only be done after a warning was issued, unless the situation calls for it. Standard Ranks should not be given strike as they are very new to the agency and may not understand things. If a Standard Rank member is acting out and/or being massively being dis-respectful then they may simply be fired after being demoted once by any HR+ When issuing a strike or firing any Security+ member you must fill out a simple form that informs the website staff to update it to the tracker and remove their badges if need be.

How to conduct a standard Demotion:
- Observe/witness an individual behaving inappropriately and or doing something that is breaking a [CIA] rule learned in training.
- Approach them and ask them what they are doing and explain to them that what they are doing is not tolerated in the [CIA]
- Try and teach them what they did wrong and observe their response and if they are listening and care about what you said.
- If they continue to act out/disrespect or simply ignore you and continue doing what they should not be doing you demote them.
- Call them to attention and explain what they have down wrong and demote them a single rank below their current one.
Demotions Policy:
- To demote anyone or to call anyone at 'Attention/ATT', your minimum rank must be in the High Rank (HR) Unit.
- You must be 6 ranks above the person you wish to demote.
- You cannot demote someone that is in your rank unit.
- You cannot skip ranks when demoting. Aka. demote someone twice or more in a short period of time.
- You cannot issue a strike to someone before demoting them at least once unless you are a Senior Staff member.
- Moderators (MoD) Rank Unit+ can fire anyone that is Leadership Unit and below instantly if the situation calls for it.
- Co-Owner+ can demote and/or issue strikes to any Moderator but need 2iC permission to fire them.
- Anyone Presidential+ that wants to demote/strike/fire anyone that is also Presidential+ needs [1iC] permission to do so.
