Promotions are essential to a happy and productive agency as hard work should be rewarded! Handing out promotions shows the person you are promoting that they are doing a good job, shows everyone around them what they should do to get promoted and it shows that you care. However promotions must be taken into careful consideration, you should not promote someone because you like them and they made a funny joke, and you should be aware of people who are working constantly in all parts of the HQ, the front, security and training as well as supervisors walking around. This policy will tell you who you can promote, up to what rank and when as well as how it should be done.
Promotions for Standard to Legal Affairs Unit should happen every hour when speaking on an individual basis. If someone has been FTF, handling security or has been training for an hour.. they deserve a promotion. Simple ways to check if someone has been working for a long time and doing a good job, is observing them for 2-5 minutes, checking their login time and how much they have went AFK. When dealing with HR+ it depends on what the individual was doing. HR have a lot more tasks then LR and if a HR has been busy supervising and promoting others, that is also just as equally good work as FTF. It's perfectly fine to promote multiple times over the course of a few hours.

How to conduct a standard Promotion:
- Observe an individual and see if they are doing a good job, being helpful as well as respectful to all around them.
- Walk up to that individual and call them to 'Attention/ATT' facing a square or two away from them, be sure to use their name.
- Ensure the individual stands and faces you while waving. Usually followed by a "yes sir/ma'am"
- Inform the individual why you are promoting them, and things that you noticed they were doing that are good.
- You may say out loud what rank you are promoting them to, but be sure to whisper them their new motto and your promotion tag.
- Close off the conversation and call them to be "At ease/AE" and continue on.
Promotion Policy:
- To promote anyone or call someone to 'Attention/ATT', your minimum rank must be in the High Rank (HR) Unit.
- You must be 5 ranks above the person you wish to promote.
- You cannot promote someone into your Rank Unit and/or someone that is in your Rank Unit.
- You cannot skip ranks when promoting. AKA, Promote someone twice or more in a short period of time.
- If you promote someone to Security Trainee, you MUST train them into Security, don't just leave them!
- If you promote/hire someone to be your PA you must train them in Security and on how to Train Recruits.
- You may promote someone in 'Standard Ranks' once every 30-60 minutes if they are actively working and doing a good job.
- You may promote someone in 'Security to Legal Affairs' once every 60 or so minutes if they are doing a good job.
- HR+ may be promoted once every 1-3 hours depending on how active they are and if they are working.
- Remember to use your head when promoting, someone getting promoted 5 times in an hour isn't fair or right.
- Also remember to look out for people that haven't been getting promoted, someone not getting promoted once in 5 hours is bad.
- Moderators (MoD) Rank Unit+ can promote people up until Executive Cabinet Unit rank 'Director of National Security'
- Presidential Rank Unit+ can promote people into Leadership Unit and up to the rank 'Room Control'
- Executive Owner+ can promote people up to MoD Unit rank 'Trial MoD' if total number of Trial Mods is under five(5)
- Acting Owner+ can promote people up to MoD Unit rank 'MoD of HR' - where vacancies exist.
- Joint Owner+ can promote people up to MoD Unit rank 'Executive MoD' - where vacancies exist.
- Founders can promote people up to Presidential Unit and into Ownership Unit with Terroriquez's private approval.
- Founders Rep's powers are equal to a Co-Owner and have the same powers and leadership/command.
- Speaker of the [CIA]'s powers are equal to a Acting Owner and have the same powers and leadership/command.
- HR+ may appoint anyone to be his personal REP/Assistant and grant them higher personal powers as he sees fit.
